Charlestown Fall Engagement Session
There was something truly special about photographing Emmy and Rebecca. These two reached out to me for their engagement session after I had the joy of photographing one of their dear friends’ engagement session and wedding. In fact, I first saw them at that wedding, where they made it clear they were huge fans of my work, hyping me up to everyone around them. I swear, they’re like my very own personal fan club!!
From the moment we started their session, their bubbly, contagious joy was impossible to miss. They light up every room, and every corner of the streets, parks, and waterfronts we wandered through during their fall engagement session. Their laughter is infectious, and the way they bring out joy in each other (and in the people around them) is simply magical.
Emmy and Rebecca have always dreamed about living in Charlestown, which made it the perfect place for their session. We explored all around the neighborhood, from aesthetic autumn stoops and colorful doors to the historic memorial and the Navy Yard with the Boston skyline as our backdrop. Every step of the way, they were candid, playful, and full of life, making each moment so very fun.
Their engagement rings, designed by the incredibly talented Laura Preshong in Boston, were gorgeous!
This session was all about celebrating their love, their joy, and the way they light up the world just by being themselves. I feel so lucky to have captured these moments for Emmy and Rebecca!
