Brenna and Meghan’s wedding at the Boston Museum of Science was a day full of love, joy, and the most thoughtful details. From their first look under the willows in the Boston Public Garden to their pastel-filled ceremony overlooking the Charles River, every moment reflected their story perfectly.

It’s such an honor to see Brenna and Meghan’s beautiful day shared with a wider community, inspiring and representing queer love in a space that truly values inclusivity and authenticity.

Getting Ready at the Westin Boston Seaport

The morning started at the Westin Boston Seaport, where both brides got ready with their closest friends and family. In a sweet twist of fate, a window washer noticed the wedding-day excitement and drew a heart in one of the hotel windows! Brenna and Meghan had both found their dresses at the same boutique, and during fittings, stylists ran back and forth between their rooms to make sure their gowns complemented each other beautifully.

A First Look in the Boston Public Garden

Before heading to the Museum of Science, Brenna and Meghan shared a first look beneath the sweeping willows of the Boston Public Garden. The quiet moment was filled with laughter, happy tears, and so much anticipation for the celebration ahead.

One of the best parts of celebrating at the Boston Museum of Science is the chance to take portraits in such a unique setting. Before the ceremony, we explored the grounds for photos, with a highlight being playful moments under the Museum’s iconic dinosaur. These portraits captured both the fun and the elegance of the day, showing off the couple’s personalities against one of Boston’s most recognizable backdrops.

A Charles River Ceremony at the Museum of Science

The ceremony took place on the Museum of Science’s terrace, with views of the Charles River and Boston skyline as the backdrop. Pastel florals framed the space, while their beloved dog Ollie proudly walked down the aisle with them. The highlight was their vows, heartfelt, funny, and deeply personal. Meghan even promised Brenna she’d always straighten the sheets before bed, a small but sweet reflection of their everyday love.

A Reception to Remember

Guests were treated to an incredible dinner by MAX Ultimate Food, complete with the most delicious mac and cheese that everyone raved about. As the sun set, we captured portraits with the Boston skyline glowing in the background before heading back inside for toasts, cake cutting, and a packed dance floor that carried late into the night.

Brenna and Meghan’s wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. As someone who grew up with two moms, I know firsthand how powerful it is to see love like theirs celebrated fully and joyfully. It’s such an honor to photograph weddings where that love shines so clearly, not just between two people, but radiating out to their families, friends, and communities.

Brenna and Meghan are truly incredible, and capturing their day at the Boston Museum of Science was a privilege I’ll never forget.
