There is something about a summer on the Cape that never gets old. The coastal roads, salty air, and long afternoons by the water. For Hope and Ben, this engagement session was a chance to revisit a place that has always felt like home to Hope.
Although the two now call Nashville home, Hope grew up here in New England and wanted to bring a little piece of her childhood into their engagement photos. We spent the afternoon along the Cape, taking in the scenery and making the most of a beautiful summer day.
The styling was stunning, with a little classic Americana and Ralph Lauren inspiration. Hope wore the prettiest white dress, Lilas Lace Dress by Arotagas, paired with Ben's blue suit jacket and off-white trousers. The whole look felt like something out of a summer campaign, but still so effortless. A little nostalgic, a little coastal, and very much at home on the Cape.
Next year, we'll be back together in Boston for Hope and Ben's wedding at The Newbury. I'm already looking forward to celebrating with them and getting to photograph another part of their story here in New England.
