A Classic Boston Fall Wedding at The Langham
Lindsay and Chris’ fall wedding at The Langham Hotel Boston was the perfect combination of city elegance and seasonal details. With crisp autumn light, warm tones, and thoughtfully curated décor, the day felt both refined and effortless.
Hints of mauve, cream, pinks, and purples appeared throughout the florals, stationery, and reception details, creating a cohesive, sophisticated fall palette. Every element, from the bridal suite to the ballroom, felt timeless yet modern.
About the Couple
Lindsay and Chris met through mutual friends during an outdoor hangout in Southie, and their connection grew quickly. Their first big trip together was to London, a trip Chris surprised Lindsay with, and he proposed shortly after on Circus Lane in Edinburgh. As Boston residents, they were excited to celebrate their wedding surrounded by the city they love and the friends and family closest to them.
Getting Ready at The Langham Boston
The morning unfolded in The Langham’s airy suites, where natural light poured over bridal details and groom preparations alike. Bridal accessories, delicate florals, and layered textures were highlighted in editorial flatlays, while candid moments of Lindsay getting ready captured the relaxed energy of the morning.
Chris and his groomsmen enjoyed a similar start, with classic suits, cufflinks, and quiet, pre-ceremony anticipation captured in the elegant hotel spaces.
First Look & Couples Portraits – Post Office Square
Just a block from the hotel, Post Office Square provided a refined urban backdrop for Lindsay and Chris’ first look and couples portraits. The crisp fall air, soft sunlight, and architectural details lent an editorial quality to every image, balancing city elegance with intimate moments.
The bridal party joined for portraits in the square, framed by autumn foliage and historic architecture. From playful, candid interactions to clean editorial group shots, the environment elevated the portraits without feeling staged.
Portraits in the Wyeth Room
The Wyeth Room at The Langham Boston is a space steeped in elegance and history. Named after the renowned American artist Andrew Wyeth, the room reflects a refined, classic aesthetic with warm wood accents, soft neutral tones, and abundant natural light streaming through tall windows.
During Lindsay and Chris’ wedding day, the Wyeth Room’s light-filled interiors and understated elegance provided a perfect backdrop for editorial-style portraits, capturing both intimate moments and editorial composition. The combination of historic charm, natural light, and clean architectural lines makes the Wyeth Room one of the most sought-after locations in The Langham.
Ceremony at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage
The ceremony took place at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Voyage, an intimate and architecturally striking Boston church. Seasonal floral accents, soft lighting, and classic details complemented the space, creating a serene, elegant atmosphere.
Sunset Portraits at Fan Pier Park
After the ceremony, we gorgeous sunset portraits at Fan Pier Park. With the Boston skyline in the background and the soft golden light of fall, Lindsay and Chris’ portraits were some of my favorites this year!
Wedding Reception at The Langham Boston
Back at The Langham Boston, the reception was a seamless blend of elegance and celebration. Guests enjoyed cocktails in the beautifully styled lounge, followed by a stunning reception in the hotel’s ballroom. Lush fall florals and warm candlelight created a timeless aesthetic, while heartfelt speeches, the couple’s first dance, and joyful parent dances filled everyone’s eyes with tears!
The dance floor was alive with energy as friends and family celebrated Lindsay and Chris’s union, making every moment unforgettable.
Lindsay and Chris’ Langham Boston fall wedding was a true celebration of love. Every detail, from bridal preparations to sunset portraits and the lively reception, was a reflection of who they are as a couple, and it was an honor to document it all.
